by System Dynamics, Inc. is software designed to facilitate the use of the
Keyence LS-5000 Laser Scan Micrometer. The software provides the user with
a very flexible, easy-to-use tool for managing the LS-5000 and for
acquiring, displaying, graphing, and analyzing measurements.
Use any PC or laptop to control the
LS-5000
The Laser Manager software communicates with the LS-5000 using a serial
port on a PC or laptop computer. The Windows-based software allows you to
set up the LS-5000 for the desired operation and can display measurement
results in several numerical and graphical formats.
Real-time SPC with automatic alarms
Statistical Process Control (SPC) data analysis and charting capabilities
are included in the software. With this flexible and powerful tool you can
perform SPC on four data streams simultaneously.
Data analysis, storage,
and retrieval
Built-in statistical and graphical analysis features are included. The
software can store measurement data to disk for later retrieval. Data can
also be exported to spreadsheet or other software.
LS-5000 programming made
easy
Virtually all of the LS-5000’s “program” settings can be made right
from the software. Since all settings can be seen at once, setting up the
LS-5000 is much easier using the Laser Manager software than it is using
the LS-5501’s LCD touch screen.
