A manufacturer of precision three-axis robot arms needed to automate the process of
aligning and testing the product prior to shipment while creating characterization graphs
and data for each unit. Required accommodation of varying test stand configurations and
three different robot models.
Result
Procedure that required two persons for five days now completed by one person in
six hours. Includes flexible test stand definition capability and anti-collision
algorithms.
Individual characterization reports and graphs are shipped with robots - a
competitive advantage.
