monitor Project
A wire manufacturer required continuous diameter monitoring using single or dual
laser micrometers. Real-time SPC, extensive data management, and multi-machine
connectivity required.
Result
We created software that completely orchestrates the data management and data
acquisition process. The program is highly configurable for use with varying materials and
specifications. Process and lot tracking data are written to a central database.
In addition to providing this manufacturer with comprehensive historical and QC data,
the software creates HTML-based reports, including histograms and lot statistics, which
are written to a floppy disk and supplied to customers with their orders.
